The WomenSpeak Project is joining other organisations across the world on March 20th, 2011 for the First International Anti-Street Harassment Day. We’re inviting YOU to participate in helping break the silence about street harassment in Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean to make our societies pay attention to this pervasive problem.
What YOU can do
1. Post your personal story about Street Harassment on the WomenSpeak blog site. For tips see http://womenspeak.tumblr.com/yourstory
2. Post a short 1 minute video message to the WomenSpeak blog saying how you feel about Street Harassment. Submit video posts here http://womenspeak.tumblr.com/submit
3. Write your own Anti-Street Harassment Manifesto. Post it to the WomenSpeakProject facebook page or the WomenSpeak blog site http://womenspeak.tumblr.com/ask . Even better, write your statement on a piece of paper and take a pic of it and post it on your own tumblr, facebook wall or twitpic.
